Why PrintClub Needed the Next Level of Performance
When PrintClub GmbH decided in 2024 to modernize its large-format production workflow, the team focused on increasing precision, accelerating processes, and reducing strain on daily operations. The ColdLam 1650 SW proved to be the solution that met—and ultimately exceeded—those expectations.
From the very beginning, the benefits became clear. The two swing-out shafts make handling noticeably easier and significantly reduce setup times. What stood out during installation later became a daily advantage in the production routine.
“We needed more stability and fewer disruptions — and this machine delivers exactly that every single day.”
– Production Management, PrintClub GmbH

Expanded Media Capabilities in Daily Production
With its 1650 mm working width, PrintClub can now process a wide variety of media, from roll-ups and display materials to thicker specialty films. The heat-assisted top roller (up to 70 °C) ensures smooth, consistent surfaces and minimizes the risk of bubbles even with demanding substrates.
Stability and Reliability During Long Production Runs
One of the major workflow enhancements comes from the seamless interaction between the roll-to-roll functionality, the integrated unwinding trough, and the responsive speed and pressure controls. These elements make continuous, interruption-free production possible — a major advantage for high-volume or time-critical orders.
Since implementing the ColdLam 1650 SW, PrintClub has eliminated several previous bottlenecks in its finishing department. After months of continuous use, the machine has proven its value: improved product quality, greater process stability, and an overall increase in efficiency and reliability throughout the production environment.
